Having never played an MMORPG before, I was completely lost and very happy to have Boone tell me how to play. Boone is your little kitty that offers you tips as you play. These tips will explain your play windows, how to chat, where your inventory is located and how to use your map. Boone has many tips that you will find very helpful, however you can turn the tips off in your options menu.

The Halls of Pantheon is finally here. The first part of the great architect Artera’s story has finally been released and now is your chance to prove to the gods of Telon you are worthy of their blessings. Within the halls you will be asked to do many things as you increase your favor with the gods until finally correcting the imbalance of creation and unlocking the path that leads into the halls of shattered souls and the truth behind the gods of Telon and their years of silence. It is up to you adventurers, crafters, and diplomats to unlock the secrets within the halls and prove once again that the inhabitants of Telon are a force to be reckoned with.

CCP has just been awarded the Media Momentum Award from the European Digital Media Industry.
It recognizes the company’s "Vision and Future Growth Potential."
Considering EVE Online has grown to over 300,000 active subscribers and seems to keep rising, it doesn’t come as a big surprise that someone would recognize their accomplishments.

FanFest: It’s That Time Again!

That’s right, EVE FanFest 2009 is just around the corner, if October is considered a nearby corner.
The mini-site about the festival has gone live and you can now buy tickets and look into package deals to get to Iceland.
Staci "Rosethorn" Krause headed overseas last year and had an absolute blast. So plan ahead! I mean seriously, why else would you go to Iceland?
Runescape: Dev Diary: Fairy Area Improvement

The folks at Runescape have posted a new dev journal which looks at their ongoing efforts to improve the game one area at a time.
After getting the beautiful concept artwork for the fairy area from Mod GG, I knew we had a lot of work ahead of us! The old fairy area was worked on by myself and Mod Paul B in the days before we had concept artists and the High Detail mode, so I know the area very well and was keen to rework it using all the new technology that we have available to us.
We want the fairy area to feel magical and organic. The fairies work with nature in an astral realm, so I want to distance the area from the rest of RuneScape so that the player feels that they have travelled a long way to get here. To help this we have introduced new types of fantastical plants and a slightly jade colour to the vegetation so that this does not feel like a typical RuneScape area.
