Alliance Tournament VII Approaches!

With 128 billion ISK in prize money, CCP is gearing up to launch the next game-wide tournament.
There aren’t too many changes from the 6th Tournament, but enough that you should do a little background reading.
I’ve put the four big rule changes into the section ahead.
The big rule changes from the official announcement:
Firstly, we will be making Logistics Ships legal again, with a maximum of one per team. Logistics modules will still be banned except when used on Logistics Ships. This should allow more flexibility in tactics and allow logistics pilots to do what they do best, without the undesirable effect of perma running, nigh unbreakable tanks.
Secondly, we will be limiting each ship to a maximum of two. Same-hull ships will be fine (so you could still run 2x Cyclone, 2x Sleipnir, 2x Claymore for example), rather this is a limitation on specific ships. The idea of this is to again create some variation in tactics; goal-focused setups will of course still be possible (such as some of the focused setups we saw in AT6 involving multiple, different T1 battlecruisers and cruisers) but will require a little more thought, a little more setting up, and of course more co-ordination on the More >
Beta Sign-Up Still Open

Want to try out all the new content and updates before Dungeons and Dragons Online goes free-to-play later this summer?
Turbine is still accepting beta tester applications, so go check out the official site for all the details.
Beta testers will get free Turbine Points, a glimpse into the new content, and the ability to check out the Turbine Store.
As the characters will be wiped at the end of the beta, this is a great way to test out a new race or class without getting too invested before the new version of the game launches.
Blue World of Warcraft – World of Warcraft clone

I came across this weird looking banner ad that looks like World of Warcraft. It would have squeaked by if I hadn’t notice the weird engrish slogan that goes, “Feelings of Wow, come on!”. I was intrigued that I searched for clues if there’s such thing as Blue World of Warcraft. Turns out that it’s a world of warcraft private server masquerading as legitimate game server.
Their website looks really amateurish. It’s hard for anyone to take their services seriously, let alone get their credit card near that “thing”.
The game specs are well…perfect for my granny’s PC.

I checked out the FAQ of the site. The FAQ page is a complete dead end.
I just couldn’t bring myself to install the game, I’ll rather spend my time doing something else. If anyone has tried this game let me know, I would love to hear from you.

MMORPG.com Dofus Correspondent Christy Bazell writes this look at the Lumberjack career in Ankama’s MMO.
Lumberjack has been quoted as the most tedious, time consuming profession to level. I beg to differ but do agree that is a profession that can be boring and time consuming.
With a lumberjack you have 16 species of trees to cut. Of course the most profitable of these trees comes much much later in the lumberjack leveling. On the upside your products are purchased by a high number of professionals. So, even at a low level you will make kama.

Aux premières heures du 11 juin 1936, le célèbre écrivain et créateur des personnages Conan et Solomon Kane mit fin à ses jours dans sa propriété de Cross Plains au Texas, à l’aide d’un pistolet. Bien que son père, le docteur Isaac Mordecai Howard, fit tout ce quil put pour sauver la vie de son fils, Robert Ervin Howard mourut huit heures plus tard, vers quatre heures de l’après-midi. Mais son héritage est parvenu jusquà nous.
Dans la pièce ou il aimait écrire, une chaise désespérément vide trônait devant le bureau sur lequel il avait rédigé toutes ses histoires à laide dune vieille machine à écrire. Une dernière feuille de papier y avait été insérée par Horward peu avant son acte irréparable, afin dy coucher ces derniers vers :
"All fled, all done, so lift me on the pyre;The feast is over and the lamps expire…"*
Howard mit fin à ses jours il y a 73 ans, mais ses histoires allaient continuer à influencer les générations à venir. 73 years ago the creator of Conan, Robert E. Howard died and we want to honor him today.

In the early hours of June 11th 1936, the well known pulp author and creator of characters such as Conan and Solomon Kane, shot himself with a pistol, outside his house in the village of Cross Plains in Texas. Even though his father, Dr. Isaac Mordecai Howard, did all he could to save his son’s life, Mr. RobertErvin Howard died 8 hours later at 4pm. But the legacy of Robert. E. Howard is living up to this day.
In his room a lonely chair was standing in front of the table, where he had written all his stories on a mechanical typewriter. A last piece of paper had been fixed into it by Howard that fateful night, to write his last words:
"All fled, all done, so lift me on the pyre;The feast is over and the lamps expire…"

Vor 73 Jahren starb der Erfinder Conan’s und wir wollen ihm heute Gedenken.
In den frühen Stunden des 11. Juni 1936, hatte sich der bekannte Pulp Autor und Schöpfer von Charakteren wie Conan und Solomon Kane, mit einer Pistole außerhalb seines Hauses im Dorf Cross Plains in Texas, erschossen. Auch wenn sein Vater, Dr. Isaac Mordecai Howard alles in seiner Macht stehende tat, konnte er das Leben seines Sohnes nicht retten und so starb Mr. Robert Ervin Howard 8 Stunden später um 16:00 Uhr am selben Tag. Jedoch lebt die Legende des Robert E. Howard bis zum heutigen Tage weiter.
In seinem Raum stand ein einsamer Stuhl vor einem Tisch, auf dem er mit einer mechanischen Schreibmaschine all seine Geschichten schrieb. Ein letztes Stück Papier wurde von ihm dort in dieser schicksalshaften Nacht eingespannt und er verfasste seine letzten Worte:
"All fled, all done, so lift me on the pyre;The feast is over and the lamps expire…"

Hoy hace 73 años que falleció Robert E. Howard y hemos querido rendirle un sentido homenaje.
Un Narrador de RelatosEn las tempranas horas del 11 de junio de 1936, el bien conocido autor y creador de personajes como Conan y Solomon Kane, se disparó con una pistola en las afueras de su casa en el pueblo de Cross Plains en Texas. A pesar de que su padre, el doctor Isaac Mordecai Howard hizo todo lo posible para salvar la vida de su hijo, Mr. Robert Ervin Howard murió 8 horas después a las 4 de la tarde. Pero el legado de Robert E. Howard sigue aún vive a día de hoy.
En su habitación permanecío una silla solitaria enfrente de su escritorio, donde el había escrito todas sus historias en una máquina de escribir. Una última página había sido fijada por Howard en esa última noche, para escribir sus últimas palabras:
