Carta del Director de Juego - Julio 2009 – Hyborian Adventures
Jul 24th

More >

As the summer months, here in Norway, bring with them a short period of rest and recuperation for the development team, I wanted to take the opportunity with this months letter to both thank people for all their support this year, and to start to lift the veil on the changes for the next update cycle that we have only teased about so far!
Coming Back to HyboriaFirstly, I want to say thank you to veteran players and returning players alike, who have been playing during this re-evaluation period.
While we, of course, still have work ahead of us and are doing our best to continue to refine and improve the game even further and add even more great new content, we are very pleased to see so many people enjoying the game, and continuing their adventures in Hyboria. It has been the culmination of lots of effort on behalf of the development team to get to the point where we could give people a good impression More >

Boomtown: With items and classes being changed so much, how has the reaction been from the community?
"Overall I think it has gone very well all things considered. It is easy to be more than a little scared about rolling out an update like this one, and I am a natural cynic so I think I have been very pleased about teh recption. Most players seem to appreciate the new build of the items and that they can now easily see how the items tie into their character. Likewise I think the new content has been very well received ad people are really enjoying the experience in Tarantia Commons, and the guild changes have also been welcomed.
There are of course also areas that people have some valid concerns with. With something on this scale we knew that there would be elements that would require additional tweaking and adjusting and were prepared for that. As we also expected the greatest challenge there is in the class balance. The follow-up to the update is very important so More >

Global Agenda: Dev Blog: Very First Beta Testers
Jul 23rd
Our exclusive Global Agenda developer blog has received a new entry, where Michal Adam of Hi-Rez Studios tell us about the first few Beta testers in their sci-fi shooter.
Global Agenda’s very first beta testers just leveled up.
Inside the Studio, Thursdays are typically New Tester Day (OK, internally we call it ’N00b’ day), when we invite new people in to the studio to test Global Agenda.
Today, our NooBs got a special treat. While Global Agenda’s Closed Beta does not officially begin until tomorrow (July 24), we allowed the tester’s to login early and be the first on our Beta Servers. So, if you are one of our Closed Beta testers and you login right at the start tomorrow and see a few players already tooling around 10 levels ahead of you – you know they were probably among the group that was at Hi-Rez today.
