Robert E. Howard hat nicht nur Conan erschaffen und sein zweitbekanntester Held nach dem wilden Barbaren hat nun eine Filmumsetzung erhalten.
Wie die Fanseite zu Solomon Kane berichtet hat Davis Films heute den ersten offiziellen englischen Solomon Kane Trailer veröffentlicht und ihn durch verschiedene Quellen ins Netz entlassen.
Wie wir finden ist der Trailer wirklich atemberaubend und jeder Robert E. Howard und Fantasy Fan sollte einen Blick riskieren!

MMORPG.com’s Carolyn Koh spoke with CCP’s Scott Holden about what’s coming in the near future for the space-sim MMO and what to expect further down the line.
CCP’s Lead Content Designer Scott Holden waxed eloquent over the Dominion Release due in the November / December time frame. A former freelance writer for White Wolf, Scott has been with EVE Online for about two and a half years.
"We have some major features we are releasing toward the end of the year, and as always, expansions are free," said Scott, describing them for me.

Global Agenda: Three New Maps Shown at PAX

Three new Global Agenda maps were playable at PAX this year, and were warmly received by fans at the show according to the game’s developers.
The first new map players got to try out is an escort map set in Siberia called Ice Flow. The second map, Seaside, is a three point ticket map set on a drilling platform in the Northern Atlantic ocean. And the last map, Climate Control is an "attack/defend" map set within the mountains of East Asia. These maps were previously available in the first phase of Closed Beta and were playable by the public for the first time at PAX.
The second phase of Closed Beta, or CBT2, will see the introduction of the Campaign functionality to the game. Participating in the campaign will allow for Agency’s to compete with each other over limited territory, technology and resources. If you’ve not yet signed up for the beta, you can do so here.

Well folks, my journey back into Warhammer Online is at its end. Or is it? I jumped back into WAR five weeks ago to see if I could rediscover the spark that ignited my heart for the game oh so many months ago. In my brief travels I’ve seen tier two bustling on Iron Rock and tier four grooving on Phoenix Throne (if somewhat like a father on the dance floor who had too many drinks at his daughter’s wedding). This post will mark my final impressions and conclude whether or not I will stick around for more.

CROMCAST #10 – Der Götterschlächter erobert die Welt!
Der Aufstieg des Götterschlächters hat seinen Weg auf die großen Messen der USA genommen, das Communityteam hat ein neues Mitglied und ist nicht nur deswegen immernoch kein bisschen leise.
Diese Woche werden wir den CROMCAST ohne unseren heißgeliebten Lenny durchziehen müssen, da sich dieser den Untiefen der Accessschulung hingibt. Da sich jedoch das Community-Team in den letzten zwei Wochen etwas verändert hat, haben wir unseren neuen US-Community Coordinator Dominic Acqarulo in die Sendung eingeladen, damit er sich auch der deutschen Community ein bisschen vorstellen kann.

EVE Online: Dominion: New Sovereignty Details

What little details we’ve known about the upcoming Dominion expansion to EVE Online centered around changes to sovereignty gameplay. Today, those changes have been fleshed out with details on what sort of sovereignty system changes we can expect with the release of Dominion later this year in a dev blog posted on the game’s official website, entitled "Sovereignty – Breaking the Chains".
The first, and possibly most important adjustment to the sovereignty system is one hardcore 0.0 players will surely appreciate: sovereignty will no longer be tied to starbases.
Other notable sovereignty changes mentioned include:
- Sovereignty levels will be no more. The system will be binary, you either have sovereignty, or you don’t. Instead of levels, alliances will be able to "plant a flag" in system in order to gain control.
- As a result of controlling a system, its upkeep will now become your alliance’s responsibility. This means things like stargates will be subject to maintenance fees for as long as you control them. The more you expand, the more you will be responsible for.
- Infrastructure is a new aspect of sovereignty being introduced with Dominion as well. Alliances will be able to develop the systems they control, giving value to systems that players may More >
Finally, Free-to-play DDO Unlimited Launched

Free-to-play MMORPG Dungeons & Dragons Online: Eberron Unlimited finally launched yesterday. Players are able to register the game at its official site. The game was once delayed for purpose of polishing. Now it’s finally launched. To celebrate the launch, Turbine released a metal trailer, in which tons of "haveay metals" will rock you. Enjoy it.
