Game Media Networks : Gametribe met la clef sous la porte, Key2Play arrête toute communication

Le marché du MMO « free to play » est particulièrement concurrentiel et tend à saturer. Les portails GameTribe, Key To Play ou encore Aeria Games en font manifestement les frais.
Bien que de nombreux éditeurs se lancent sur ce marché, le MMO « free-to-play » est manifestement un univers bien difficile pour beaucoup. Lancé en 2007 avec des jeux en anglais et en français, l'éditeur italien Game Media Networks (qui exploite le portail GameTribe et les DOMO ou Dekaron) vient d'annoncer dans un message publié sur ses forums officiels que les sites ainsi que tous les jeux opérés sur le portail seraient définitivement fermés le 31 décembre prochain.
De son côté, l'éditeur Key2Play basé en Espagne a cessé toute communication depuis plusieurs jours et le site officiel Key2Play.com, ainsi que les sites des jeux, ne semblent plus hébergés. Le mois dernier, l'éditeur avait annoncé la fermeture définitive des serveurs européens d'Ys Online.
Dans une moindre mesure, nous apprenions également la semaine dernière qu’Aeria Games, portail également spécialisé dans l’exploitation de MMORPG gratuits en Europe, fermait définitivement les serveurs français et allemands de Shin Megami Tensei (Mega Ten Online) d’ici le 21 décembre.

DOFUS 1.29 + DOFUS 2.0
Primeiro de tudo, bem-vindos ao novo site da comunidade de DOFUS!
Como o título pode sugerir, temos um pronunciamento muito importante a fazer!
No dia 2 de dezembro, o DOFUS 2.0 deveria substituir a versão atual de DOFUS.
No entanto, nós achamos que a versão 2.0 ainda não está pronta e que é muito cedo para migrar a comunidade toda para ela.
Sendo assim, decidimos deixar a versão 1.29 aberta a todos, e lançar a versão 2.0 em paralelo.
Como isso vai funcionar? Nós lançaremos oficialmente DOFUS 2.0 na manhã do dia 2 de dezembro, como planejado, mas apenas em novos servidores, que terão EXP e Drop dobrados por 2 semanas.
Você poderá jogar DOFUS 1.29 e DOFUS 2.0 com a mesma conta.
E depois?
Não se preocupe! DOFUS 2.0 está progredindo rapidamente, e o desempenho está melhorando a cada dia. O time de desenvolvedores está trabalhando duro para fazer desta primeira versão um sucesso que agradará a todos. Estamos empregando todos os esforços para atingir este objetivo!

Every Monday Scott Andrews contributes Officers’ Quarters, a column about the ins and outs of guild leadership. I feel like it’s been a while since I wrote a column about casual raiding. I posted a four-part guide to making it work back in April 2008. Since then, I’ve pointed most people who write me about this topic in that direction without writing a full column on their questions. DOFUS 1.29 + DOFUS 2.0
First things first, welcome to the new DOFUS community site!
As the title of this news might suggest, we have a very important announcement to make!
On December 2, DOFUS 2.0 was supposed to replace the current version of DOFUS.
However, we feel that version 2.0 is not yet ready and that it is too early to completely migrate the community over to it.
As such, we have decided to leave 1.29 playable and open to everyone, and to launch 2.0 in parallel.
How will that work? We will officially launch DOFUS 2.0 the morning of 2 December, as planned, but only on new servers that will have doubled XP and drops for 2 weeks.
You will be able to play DOFUS 1.29 and DOFUS 2.0 with the same account.
Then what?
Don’t worry! DOFUS 2.0 is progressing rapidly, and performance is improving every day. The entire team is working extremely hard make this first version a success that will appeal to everyone. We are doing everything we can to achieve that goal!
From December 2 you’ll be able to move in to DOFUS 2.0 on new servers with new characters, when you want, without any obligation.

Comme l’indique le titre de cette news, on a un message très important !
Le 2 décembre, DOFUS 2.0 devait remplacer, purement et simplement, la version actuelle de DOFUS.
Nous estimons que la version 2.0 n’est pas encore assez convaincante et qu’il est trop tôt pour imposer la migration complète de la communauté vers DOFUS 2.0.
Nous avons donc décidé de laisser la version 1.29 jouable pour tous et de lancer DOFUS 2.0 en parallèle.
Comment cela va-t-il se passer ? Nous lancerons officiellement DOFUS 2.0, le 2 décembre matin, comme prévu… Mais uniquement sur des nouveaux serveurs qui auront une particularité : « XP et drop doublés pour tous » pendant 2 semaines.

DOFUS 1.29 + DOFUS 2.0
Benvenuti sul nuovo sito della Community!
Come indicato nel titolo, abbiamo una notizia molto importante da darvi!
Il 2 dicembre, DOFUS 2.0 doveva sostituire completamente la versione attuale di DOFUS.
Attualmente crediamo che la versione 2.0, non sia ancora copmpletamente matura e che sia troppo presto per imporre la migrazione completa di tutta la comunità su DOFUS 2.0.
Abbiamo deciso, quindi, di lasciare la versione 1.29 disponibile per tutti e attivare, parallelamente, DOFUS 2.0.
Cosa succederà? Attiveremo ufficialmente DOFUS 2.0 nella mattina del 2 dicembre, come previsto, ma solo su nuovi server che avranno una particolarità: “doppia XP e Drop per tutti” per due settimane.
Con lo stesso account avrete la possibilità di giocare a DOFUS 1.29 e DOFUS 2.0.
E in seguito?
Non preoccupatevi! Il gioco DOFUS 2.0 progredisce rapidamente e le sue performance vengono migliorate ogni giorno. Tutto il team lavora senza sosta per far sì che questa prima versione sia un vero successo che soddisfi le aspettative di tutti. Antes que nada, ¡bienvenidos al nuevo sitio web de la comunidad de DOFUS!
Como lo indica el titulo, ¡éste es un mensaje muy importante!
