The Secret World: Primer trailer con imágenes del juego
Jan 31st

Crytek working on an MMO FPS
Jan 31st
With Crysis 2 set for release within the year, it seems that Crytek is already busying itself with its next big title. According to a LinkedIn profile spotted by Connected Consoles, an “unannounced MMO FPS” is now in the works.
The LinkedIn profile in question belongs to Yegor Bondar from Crytek Kiev, which indicates plainly that the game designer is currently involved in a “Not announced MMO FPS.” Apart from that, there’s nothing else that would point us to any of the game’s details, or even which platform/s will it go to.
Thanks again to Peter Bauer!

Welcome to Global Agenda!
Jan 31st
February 1, 2010
Our vision for Global Agenda was to combine elements from our favorite genres: the combat of a team-based shooter, accessible character progression of an RPG, and emergent conflict, production, and politics between player-formed groups competing for limited territory and resources like a giant strategy game. Plus jetpacks, because who doesn’t like jetpacks?!
Like our game, our pricing model is a hybrid, designed to offer players maximum flexibility:
- With a one-time purchase players can enjoy the game casually with features comparable to other multiplayer online shooters.
- And players that opt for the monthly subscription have access to ongoing content updates and premium features including ‘Conquest’ – the strategy meta-game that enables groups to compete over specific, persistent territory locations on the world map.
As an independent studio, we’ve had the luxury of developing a title that can be hard to categorize, but aims for ‘fun and engaging’ above all else. We hope you enjoy the game.

Breakfast Topic: Getaway guilds
Jan 31st
I discovered that many of the regular players in It came from the Blog, WoW.com’s event guild, are using it as a getaway guild. Some of them lead or are regular raiders in progression guilds on other servers, but come to Zangarmarsh to get away from it all.
In a getaway guild, you can level a character without having to deal with your home guild’s drama, responsibilities and requests. Sure, you want to be there for your guild and you don’t mind helping out your friends, but sometimes it’s nice to just play the game without all of the extra baggage that comes along with an ambitious guild. Of course, you can solo incognito or on another realm, but in a getaway guild, you have the social interaction without the expectations.
Do you belong to a getaway guild? Or is all your WoW playtime in one guild and you just stay out of Azeroth when you need a break?
Note: If you like the idea of a getaway guild, but aren’t in one, you are welcome to join It came from the Blog on Zangarmarsh, U.S. Please see our FAQ for any questions.

Jan 31st
Thanks to IGG, we are offering you 300 closed beta keys more to Altis Gates. You can grab yours on the link over the image below, but you will have to wait till February 2nd (tomorrow) to validate it. The time has been set, and the Altis Gates Closed Beta will begin at 8:00pm EST (GMT-5) on February 2nd, 2010!
The CB will end at 10:00pm EST (GMT-5) on February 11th, 2010, which means a whopping 10 days of fun awaits everyone involved! However, all account data and characters created, including those retained from the AT will be gone at the end of the CB.
The main difference between the AT and then upcoming CB is that the CB will be much less exclusive and activation keys should be much easier to come by. There are several different routes players can go to pick one up, so if you missed the AT, be sure you don’t miss out on the CB. Various media sites will be offering keys, and players can also pick one up from one of the many events we have planned. Just remember that these keys are free, so dont buy one on eBay, just head on over to our main site and forums and More >
The Secret World : Affrontements, exploration, enquêtes…
Jan 31st

Coolest AoE Skills in MMO GamesBy Johnny Lim The crave to write a simple and easy to follow tips is what I am here for. In an MMO scenario, my articles can be a tool for savvy gamers.Providing essential in-game information to finish different tasks in MMO games.
Playing MMO games for the past 5 year has never cease me from having fun and awesome experiences. Thanks to the creative minds of game developers. Countries such as U.S Canada Korea and just recently China are the forces behind this number one past time for Internet users. One of the factor for this success is the visual and skill effects that make a player wants to play more and will feel that adrenaline rush through his/her body. A good mind and hand coordination exercise when players use skills that would help defeat the enemies that are massive. An excellent and stunning skill effects catch most gamers specially with Area of Effect (AoE) type of skills. Depending what build a gamer chooses for the character he/she is playing, almost all MMORPG games has these sets of skills for defeating monsters and different types of enemies that ’mob’ the player’s character. Review: Torchlight – A Prelude to an MMO!
Jan 31st
Review: Torchlight – A Prelude to an MMO!By Matthew ColinsMatthew has been writing for various MMO sites for the last three years, including a brief stay at Curse. Matthew now writes exclusively for MMOSite. He has a wizard robe and hat.
It’s been a while now since I’ve actually written anything worth publishing. In fact it’s been a while since I’ve written anything at all. When I say a while I don’t mean a short while. I mean a long while. Longer that a bout but not as long as an age. Somewhere in between perhaps. I’m not trying to rant here. I’m just trying to give you an impression of how important this article is in the hopes that you’ll take me very, very seriously. There is always a reason to return to this type of thing. Mostly it’s to complain. Sometimes it’s to analyse. Rarely it’s to review. This time the reason is Torchlight – a very small game from a very small developer most probably housed in a very small shed somewhere in America.
