During open beta we will also lower the price for the digital download pre-order by 5 EUD.

To join the open beta, simply create a game account (a forum account will automatically created).
Download the client, install and play.
The Open Beta will be run on one cluster server based in Stockholm.There is a possibility of a server cap being put in place.

Electronic Arts Seoul Studio Established, More MMOs Are on the Way

For the sake of online game development, Electronic Arts (EA) has recently announced to incorporate EA Korea and J2M, a Korea-based game developer EA acquired in 2008, as a new company called “Electronic Arts Seoul Studio LLC“.
By means of such adjustment and incorporation, EA mainly aims to create higher-quality games with the joint efforts made by EA Korea and J2M.
Electronic Arts Seoul Studio LLC is currently responsible for the online games including FIFA Online 2, NBA Street Online2 and Ray City. It also works with Neowiz on Battlefield Online, and with NHN on Warhammer Online. The newly established Electronic Arts Seoul Studio LLC will play an important role in the strategy of EA’s online game development.
According to Electronic Arts Seoul Studio LLC, with the merge of the two studios, they will work jointly for a common goal and strive to present the audience with the best online games.
Recently, the video game market has witnessed surprises again and again. Many great projects made by Bioware, Activision Blizzard and Ubisoft have been launched in succession. On the contrary, EA has got nothing able to compete with the great games like Dragon Age and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. In the midst of stale progression, uninspiring game mechanics and sloppy execution of game design elements, we continue to look at the glimpses of originality and refreshing gameplay that new mmo games bring with their release. Thus, the games will not be analyzed as a whole but only in terms of the standalone aspects mentioned above. Since there are quite a few games to present, there will be a follow up article soon. I did not include IP (Intellectual Property) and lore which, despite being at times quite appealing, are present in all games to a certain degree.
