EverQuest II: Brenlo Discusses Game’s Future

EverQuset II Senior Producer Alan "Brenlo" Crosby discussed the future of EverQuest II at length in a new forum post made to the official EverQuest II forums.
In the post Brenlo reveals that the next game update is set to launch in May, and one of the update's major focuses is to deal with the myriad technical issues that have cropped up since the launch of the Battlegrounds feature, returning players, and tons of new items in the database.
Shader 3.0 will also finally go live with May's update, as will New Halas, which was previously pushed back as it required more development time. The team will also reveal details on a proposed travel revamp as May approaches, as SOE wants to streamline the travel system so that is more logical and makes "more sense."
Brenlo also announced a new storyteller system, which is a new UI element that " tracks quests together, in a meaningful way, to tell a larger story."
Itemization will also be addressed in the near future, as Brenlo notes that the team is gathering and responding to feedback.

Our submitter, Shimatsu of Alterac Mountains, managed to snag the Reins of the Twilight Drake from a recent Sarth + 3D run. (Yeah, yeah, old content and all, but it’s still a pretty nice mount.) Looking for something to do after the raid, she flew over the magma-spewing caldera in Wintergrasp and decided it would be a good place for a screenshot of her new pet. Just the location to keep your drake from getting too homesick!

Comme la plupart des éditeurs, Square Enix propose désormais un canal officiel pour FF XIV.
Cette chaîne YouTube vous propose de découvrir en avant-première des vidéos in-game de FF XIV, dont la bêta devrait débuter prochainement. Cette série de vidéos se nomme “Life in Eorzea”, littéralement “La vie en Eorzea”. Malheureusement, les commentaires audio sont uniquement disponibles en japonais pour le moment, mais il est probable qu’une traduction soit disponible très bientôt !

This Tuesday morning while everyone else was lamenting weekly maintenance, I headed down to the local NPR studios to sit in a very quiet, empty studio — and chat about World of Warcraft with illustrious individuals in distant lands on WBUR’s On Point. I joined William Sims Bainbridge (author of The Warcraft Civilization, which is available in stores today) and host Tom Ashbrook for an hour-long discussion on the meaning behind World of Warcraft.
Can we really use events in WoW predict the future? Is WoW the first real afterlife? Is the game world dangerous and addicting — or a great place to connect with friends and co-workers?

Warrior vs. Archer
It can be said that warriors are an oppositional class of archers, as immature archers are not good at melee combats. As long as warriors pay attention to avoiding archers’ arrows and Circle Kick which has a wide effective area, they are more likely to win. An Audition Employee Arrested for Illegally Trading Virtual Currency

According to the South Korean media, Lee (26 years old), a former employee of the Korean Audition, was arrested by the local police in Seoul for illegally making benefits from the game’s virtual currency.

Lee started to work for the development company of Audition in Sept. 2006. As a dancing-music casual game, Audition features various personalized, delicate 3D characters, as well as naturally flowing body movements, catching many players’ eyes. In the game, players are allowed to buy diversified hairstyles, clothes, shoes and many other kinds of items to customize their characters.
