With the arrival of the Aion: Assault on Balaurea expansion, players will have the opportunity to have their own pet. Currently, there are five types of pets available and their 'skills' range from warning players about approaching danger or expanding a player's inventory.

While the pets system will continuously evolve throughout the life of the game, Aion: Assault on Balaurea will launch with five pet types:

  • Companion – Adventure with their owner throughout Atreia
  • Signal – Alert their owner to the presence of enemy players
  • Pack – Expand their owner’s inventory
  • Fortune – Produce items for their owner after being well-fed
  • Purebred – Provide their owner with multiple functions at once

Players will have 100 pet slots available but will only be able to summon one pet at a time. Also, responsible pet ownership is the name of the game: Keeping a pet fed and healthy is important!
