Ankama Shield (Beta): Account Security

As we announced to you just after the intrusion of the Ankama database, we are begining the beta testing phase for our new security system that will protect your account and your personal data: the Ankama Shield. This secure method of access will prevent anyone with ill-will from raiding your account from a strange computer, because you control your level of access!
This past August, Ankama faced a major intrusion. Our support team has managed to answers more than 80 000 tickets, and is currently assessing the actual losses of the players in order to establish a fair compensation for our players and customers who were victims of this intrusion.
At the same time, the DOFUS team, in co-operation with the Support and Web teams, have been working on a new protection service for all Ankama accounts to help prevent problems like this in the future. And we’re pleased to offer you the chance to try this new service, starting today.

Ankama Shield (bêta) : sécurité renforcée

Quelques semaines après le hack qui a porté préjudice à Ankama et ses joueurs apparaît un nouveau service de protection des comptes dans une version bêta : Ankama Shield. Un accès sécurisé qui empêche quiconque de se connecter à votre compte, mais qui ne vous empêche pas de jouer depuis n’importe quel ordinateur, puisque… c’est VOUS qui gérez les accès !
En août, Ankama a dû faire face à un hack de grande envergure. Notre support est parvenu à traiter plus de 80 000 billets et évalue actuellement au mieux les pertes réelles de ses joueurs afin d’établir un juste dédommagement des victimes.
En même temps, les équipes de DOFUS, du support et de la web ont travaillé sur un nouveau service de protection des comptes afin que ce genre de situation ne se reproduise pas. Et ce service vous est proposé aujourd’hui.
Ankama Shield est un nouveau système destiné à améliorer la sécurité des comptes DOFUS. Il permet aux utilisateurs de définir quelles machines peuvent avoir accès aux fonctionnalités importantes d’un compte DOFUS.

MCM Halloween Fanart Contest

In honor of our upcoming trip to London on the weekend of October 28-30, DOFUS is holding a Halloween Fanart Contest! The theme of this contest is “How Would Your Character Celebrate Halloween?” You have until November 4th to post your entry on our contest submission thread. Don’t be shy, the prize is a month’s free subscription to DOFUS and a Borbat Pet!
Check the contest rules for all the vital details, then draw us a picture of how your character would celebrate Halloween. As you may know, in the world of DOFUS, Octolliard 31st is usually a date of doom and gloom for the World of Twelve as Al Howlin’s curse creeps over the countryside. So show us how your character would celebrate if Halloween in DOFUS was a little closer to our own traditions of trick-or-treating and dressing up in costumes!
Post your pictures in our contest submission thread, and make sure to get it done before 10:30 AM (GMT+1) on November 4th. As we mentioned earlier this week, today begins the first reward weekend for Goultarminator and the Vulkania Challenges! Just as a reminder, this weekend SHIKA is receiving their Goultarminator rewards! Additionally, Rosal’s birthday was on the 26th of September, so this weekend, they will have a special birthday event!
Rewards Reminder for October 1-2, 2011:
Jiva
- Experience rewards increased by 100%,
- Drop rate increased by 100%,
- Bunches of keys rechargeable.

Der deutsche Server Nehra hatte sich aufgrund des Einsatzes seiner wackeren Kämpfer wie auch der ausdauernden Teilnehmer der Serverwettbewerbe einen vierten Platz in der Gesamtwertung des Goultarminator erkämpft. Jetzt ist Zeit für Goultards Belohnung!
Bei einer Abstimmungen von allen beteiligten Communities hat sich die Mehrheit der Spieler dafür entschieden, dass die Belohnung für die besten Server des Goultarminator 2011 am ersten Oktober-Wochenende erhalten werden soll.
Für Nehra sie diese Belohnung wie folgt aus:- anderthalbfache Erfahrungspunkte,- anderthalbfache Drops,- beliebig wieder aufladbare Schlüsselbunde für die Dungeons.
Los geht es am Freitag, dem 30.09.2011 um 18 Uhr MEZ und am Montag, dem 3.10.2011 um 9 Uhr MEZ werden dann wieder die normalen Dropp- und Erfahrungspunktwerte aktiv.

La Leggenda del Giustiziere Cieco e del suo discepolo Daigoro:
Quando era giovane, il Pandawa Daigoro viveva in un pacifico villaggio. Sfortunatamente, il tempo dell’innocenza finì troppo presto e i Kitsù, adorabili palle di pelo, s’impossessarono del villaggio di Daigoro, trasformandolo nella loro dimora prediletta.
