High-Sec Incursions Too Rewarding – news from EvE
Jan 16th
New Eden – A group of capsuleers, led by Krissada, are attempting to disrupt the “ISK farming” currently occurring at Sansha Incursion sites. They are planning to destroy Sansha motherships as soon as they arrive through their wormholes and in doing so hope to cut back the amount of ISK earned by capsuleers who attend the incursions simply to collect bounties on the lesser Sansha forces in the area.
Krissada is apparently aggrieved that “bears” are able to “farm” for ISK in high-sec Incursions with little risk as long as they do not destroy the Sansha mothership. This, to her, is a blatant misuse of CONCORD’s reward system and she is focused on stopping what she believes is an “ISK faucet”. Disgruntled with how Incursions are fought she revealed her belief that “Sansha forces appear to be infinite, as is the depth of CONCORD’s wallet”.
Krissada’s plan is to destroy the Sansha motherships as soon as possible which will hopefully cause the immediate withdrawal of Sansha forces and prevent further bounties being collected by “Incursion Bears”. She hopes to force those wanting to make ISK from Incursions into low-sec and thus ensuring when Sansha forces arrive in high-sec they are dealt with quickly More >

EVE Online: War Rages On
Jan 9th
The War in the North is still raging strong in EVE Online, but that doesn't mean much is really happening. Find out the state of affairs in this week's One Jump Home."
And so it does. Two weeks ago I reported on the initial call to arms that the Clusterf*ck Coalition had raised and the general order that the invasion of the regions known as Branch and Vale of the Silent would commence. Two weeks later, and my predictive musings have come true and the dead lay in their droves on the battlefield of Branch. Almost all of them belonging to WhiteNoiseDOT, former owners of the aforementioned region, victims of extreme unrelenting violence and conquest.

It’s time to start planning how you’re going to get to EVE Fanfest at the end of March and we’ve got some tips for you!

EVE Online: Launching Subscribers Into Space
Jan 2nd
Well, that's not literally true. However during the EVE Fanfest to be held later this year, every subscriber's name as of December 31st will be printed and included in a special EVE pod to be attached to a high altitude balloon and sent into orbit.
Powered by the laws of physics and mysterious Terran technology, the spacefaring vessel will travel to altitudes exceeding 100,000 feet and into the realm of near space. A camera will record the voyage of all EVE capsuleers, united in one fleet for the first time, as they crest the curve of the planet. The vistas should be a familiar sight for those who fly around in the EVE Universe on a regular basis.
We'll keep you posted as more details emerge.

Flight of a Thousand Rifters – news from EvE
Jan 1st
Vlillirier, Placid – On the 17th of December, Marlona Sky undocked in a Moros dreadnought named Intigo with the intention of having it blown up.
Marlona, inspired by the event “Bring me the head of Kirith Kodachi”, decided to throw an event with billions worth of prizes to be won by participants. The First Tier prizes, including a Vindicator battleship worth in excess of 1.1 billion ISK and a Proteus with five subsystems, were limited to capsuleers flying frigates or destroyers.
When interviewed after the conclusion of the event, Marlona had the following to say: “I really had no idea what kind of ships were waiting for me… I thought for sure it would be a tonne of battleships ready to melt my Moros fast, but instead I was greeted by a wonderful sight. A giant cloud of frigates and destroyers.”
A final total of 153 capsuleers took part in the killing of the Moros, with five managing to get blows in on Marlona’s capsule. Prizes were awarded using a complicated points system, with the top prize, the Vindicator battleship, going to Galactica789.
Galactica789 thought it had been a nice surprise to come in first and take the Vindicator, as he had initially thought More >
EVE Online: Winter Has Come
Dec 27th
War has broken out in EVE Online, and this week's One Jump Home recounts the events that led to its arrival and the possibilities of what such an upheaval may lead to. Read on!
Earlier in the year I, and many other news media outlets, reported that the former Northern Coalition, mainstay power-bloc in EVE Online had collapsed outright under the immense pressure of the powerful Alliances known as WhiteNoise, NorthernCoalitionDOT and RaidenDOT. These 3 entities backed with the seemingly endless ISK of the Drone Russian Federation and helped by the formidable itinerant entity known as Pandemic Legion had successfully vanquished the now dead Northern Coalition and happily took their prize: The vast technetium wealth of the North.
