HYDRA RELOADED Sells Several Utu Class Frigates – news from EvE
Aug 12th
Jita, The Forge – HYDRA RELOADED has reportedly been selling several valuable Utu-class assault frigates.
The Utu blueprints were awarded to HYDRA as second place prizes in Alliance Tournament VIII. Only fifty Utu hulls can ever be built and their value is estimated at about 30 billion ISK per unit.
The Utu is a specialized drone platform based on the Ishkur design. The vessel is also able to field considerable scrambling capabilities and is considered a strong combat platform.
Records indicate that at least one Utu vessel has already been destroyed. The vessel belonging to Morel Nova met its fate at the hand of CTPAHHUK UKC on 112.07.19.
Several of the forty-nine surviving ships have now been put on sale. Phunkadin explained that HYDRA RELOADED decided to sell part of its Utu vessel stock in a bid to raise enough capital to build a supercapital fleet.
According to Phunkadin, not all of the Utus are going to be sold: “we are going to use some of them… [to show] we are the best and should not be messed with.”
It is believed that the alliance has already sold about ten vessels and the same number have been contracted to Chribba as collateral for an IPO on the alliance’s behalf. Chribba also More >
Second Seyllin Conference To Be Held This Weekend – news from EvE
Aug 12th
The Second Seyllin Conference will be held this weekend, August 14th and 15th at 22:00. The conference will convene in Seyllin at the CreoDron Warehouse located at moon 8 planet 14. The Synenose Accord will be continuing their discussions of wormholes, Sleepers, and any possible connection with the recent Sansha Nation invasions.
Organized by Julianus Soter, The Synenose Accord held their first Conference on the 18th of July last year. Among many topics discussed, one that stands out most was the belief that Sleepers are particularly vulnerable to ECM attacks; the type of ECM doesn’t matter, but the strength does. Armed with this unconfirmed knowledge, many capsuleers have had great success in battling Sleepers in wormhole space.
More recently, the conference’s standing public channel became a rallying center for capsuleers looking for information on the Sansha incursions. The Second Seyllin Conference is expected to discuss these events, and much more.

More >Capsuleer Cemetery Flourishes – news from EvE
Aug 12th
Molea, Khanid – During the past several months, the landmark cemetery created by Azia Burgi has recovered from previous violence and is now larger than ever.
In September 110, the cemetery was destroyed by pilots belonging to JihadSwarm who considered this burial method to be a desecration of mortal remains. It has taken twenty-two months for Azia Burgi to rebuild her cemetery and to surpass its former size.
According to Taak Coram, a capsuleer who regularly flies from Placid to donate corpses to the cemetery, the site keeps growing and is now noticeably bigger than it had been in the past. Taak believes that the cemetery is a grand attraction for a backwater system like Molea.
