Inspired by Tibus Heth, Revolts Break Out in Caldari State – news from EvE
Nov 6th
The Citadel With the exception of Ishukone-controlled territories, reports of civil disobedience and open revolts against mega-corporate establishments are erupting across the Caldari State following the violence at the Caldari Constructions Armor Forge facility on Piak III. Roving bands of youths, inspired by the heroic actions of Tibus Heth, are targeting symbols of corporate affluence, damaging or destroying the property even as local police forces bear down on them. Blatant acts of workforce recalcitrance have been reported at numerous production facilities, an unheard of occurrence in the Caldari State. Thus far, the mega-corporations are countering the revolts cautiously, wary of following Kaalakiotas example. Despite the measured response, hundreds of arrests have been reported so far as efforts to contain the uprising continue.

Breaking News: Tibus Heth Acquires Majority Ownership of Caldari Constructions; Disgraced CEO Torkebaira Shutsu Takes His Own Life – news from EvE
Nov 6th
Piak Tibus Heth, a low-grade MTAC operator for Caldari Constructions and leader of a worker uprising, has acquired an ownership stake in the corporation following the voluntary surrender of personal shares and stock options by the corporations executive board, and by an anonymous financier who seized advantage of the earlier selloff to buy up huge quantities of stock. Torkebaira Shutsu, the former CEO and last executive to cede personal shares to Heth, ended his life shortly afterwards. The gruesome scene in the Constructions boardroom ends a standoff at the Armor Forge manufacturing plant that has the entire Caldari State captivated, although many questions remain.
The Secure Commerce Commission will investigate every detail of this ownership transfer thoroughly, promised Chairman Eman Autrech amidst vocal concerns raised by the mega-corporations. The legality of this takeover will be determined pending our evaluation of the means through which it was executed. Meanwhile, security throughout the State is hastily being bolstered over fears that the outrage over Kaalakiotas use of deadly force will begin to spill over. Including the Constructions worker shot dead by Home Guard troops, the death toll at the Armor Forge stands at 34.

Constructions Stock Reverses Freefall, Soars – news from EvE
Nov 6th
Yulai In a stunning reversal that has left traders and regulators alike scrambling for an explanation, Caldari Constructions stock is currently skyrocketing upwards, regaining and then surpassing almost all of the value lost when news of the worker uprising began. Setting an all-time high for trade volume, the abrupt change leaves Constructions stock as the only Caldari security listed on the CSE with a net positive gain on the day. “There was a big buyer out there when all the commotion started,” one trader commented. “Hes been there all day, taking the stock in just as fast as everyone else was shorting it. Now all the institutions are exposed on the upside and trying to buy shares back as fast as they can, pushing the thing up even higher.” The Secure Commerce Commission is equally perplexed, and monitoring the Armor Forge developments closely. “In light of the days events on Piak III, lets just say that were watching these trades closely and leave it at that,” an anonymous SCC official commented.

Breaking News: Home Guard Troops Open Fire on Constructions Workers; Dozens Killed in Resulting Riot – news from EvE
Nov 6th
Piak III Home Guard troops opened fire and killed at least one Caldari Constructions worker at the Armor Forge facility on Piak III, inciting a riot that claimed the lives of dozens of employees. Lured outside by Constructions CEO Torkebaira Shutsu for alleged negotiations on behalf of the employees trapped inside, a Home Guard sniper shot the Constructions worker as he approached the executive in the open. Recorded footage depicts a man believed to be Tibus Heth braving the gunfire to rescue the fallen comrade as the enraged crowd rushed the security perimeter, inciting a stampede that left numerous victims crushed or electrocuted. Anonymous sources have provided credible evidence that Kaalakiota CEO Haatakan Oiritsuu herself issued the order to use deadly force on the Constructions employees to retake the facility; the mega-corporation is furiously denying those claims. Tibus Heth, believed to be responsible for leading the revolt, is still alive after retreating back into the Armor Forge with the wounded Constructions worker slung over his shoulder as Home Guard troops and MTACs faced the rioting Constructions workers. Both sides are currently at a standstill; the Armor Forge remains under control of Heth and his loyalists. The dropship of Caldari More >
Caldari Stocks Plummet Following News of Constructions Revolt – news from EvE
Nov 6th
Yulai Caldari mega-corporation shares across the State have begun to freefall following word that Home Guard troops have been deployed to the Constructions Armor Forge facility on Piak III. This follows a spate of bad news for the State in recent weeks as investors continue to sell off Caldari assets and move to more secure investments, in particular Federation securities. Leading analysts are calling the situation at Piak emblematic of the States broader issues, citing the rampant inflation figures for the localized economies under mega-corporation control. Shares of Caldari Constructions stock, leading the downward spiral of the broader Caldari Funds Index, have already lost more than 30 percent of their value in heavy trading.

Home Guard Dropships Reported Landing on Piak III – news from EvE
Nov 6th
Piak – Home Guard dropships have landed at the Armor Forge manufacturing facility on Piak III, deploying mechanized infantry to counter what is now being called a hostage situation. According to a statement released by Caldari Constructions, a rogue employee named Tibus Heth is blackmailing the corporation at the expense of his own coworkers, and is threatening to kill those inside unless his demands are met. However, hundreds of laborers have gathered outside the security perimeter in apparent support of the man, and unconfirmed reports are circulating that only management-level Constructions employees are being held inside against their will inside the facility. No statement has been issued yet by Kaalakiota, the parent company of Home Guard, regarding the show of force onsite. The Constructions Armor Forge, by far the largest planetary asset of the corporation, is believed to be a primary supplier of industrial starship components and heavy equipment to several mega-corporations.

According to t0rfifrans, the idea behind the redesign of the nebulae is to "make the world more real and give people a better sense of scale and location in the universe."
Players will see changes in space depending on where they are and as they near a specific phenomenon, the environment will change, become more detailed. Anti-Sansha Fleets Baited by Pirate Gangs – news from EvE
Nov 3rd
Sahdil, Domain – 02.11.113 – High bounties placed by CONCORD on invading Sansha vessels are attracting pirate forces seeking to force engagements and loot the wrecks of defenders' expensive and well-appointed ships. "BTL Pub” and “The Ditanian Fleet” (TDF) are two of the largest anti-Sansha communities operating in high security space, formed around channels that organize full fleets from lone pilots and small groups who want to be more potently involved. Phattecia, a BTL representative, stated that BTL’s goal is to allow a “secure channel for shield fleets to rally from, this is our highest priority.” TDF is similar, though focused on armour fleets. Their spokesman Carmelos53 said they “allow pilots from all corners… to socialize and fly in relative safety from griefers.” BTL has a banlist of over 1000 known pilots, corporations and alliances and employs moderators to bring a measure of order and security to their channel, while TDF maintains a public mailing list of blacklisted pilots. Such measures have only a limited effectiveness, however, in the face of numerous spies. Ammzi of BTL stressed that the onus is on all pilots to ensure their own safety by “taking corp history of other fleet members and their killboards” into More >
