Star Trek Online: Feature Episode Reruns
May 20th
The reruns continue over on the official Star Trek Online website of the Featured Episodes, allowing you to watch for the opportunity to earn limited-time rewards, including dual cannons for your fighter. Check it out.
We're happy to present special Feature Episodes! Feature Episodes are grouped into Series and are tied closely together to comprise one story arc. They're available to players of both factions starting at level 6 and at no extra cost. Be sure to tune in to continue the story!
Each series is comprised of several episodes in a story chain. You must complete the first episode before you can move on to the next. To begin a series, travel to the sector listed in the Contact section of each episode, and you’ll be prompted to talk to the Contact in the lower-right portion of your UI. This Contact will offer you any episodes you are currently eligible to play.
In addition to the standard mission rewards you’ll receive at the end of each episode, there is a special reward available for completing a series during its initial release schedule

Star Trek Online: New Engineering Report Posted
May 17th
Star Trek Online Executive Producer Dan Stahl has posted the latest Engineering Report. In the report, Stahl discusses upcoming rebalancing of all ground weapons and kit power. Stahl also talks about new missions and Season 4 coming in June.
In addition to the Season 4 update, some of the development team is already working on new event missions which we will start releasing in Season 4. First up are some changes to deepspace random encounters and the addition of a PVE Fleet Queuing system which will allow up to 20 players to custom build teams and launch a Fleet Action map. Next up are some new Space and Ground 5 man challenge maps (think mini-fleet actions) which will allow both FED and KDF players to queue up and tackle a faction appropriate enemy on a daily basis for some new rewards. I’ve also been dropping hints about the Borg lately, and you can expect that soon after Season 4 goes live, the Borg will start to reveal their new invasion plans and the Alpha Quadrant will be faced yet again with a difficult challenge. By the time the Borg events are in full swing, Feature Episode series 4 will make its More >
Star Trek Online: Gigantic Ask Cryptic Posted
May 10th
Star Trek Online producer Daniel Stahl has posted the latest "Ask Cryptic" and it's a massive and wandering list of questions/answers. The discussion meanders from the Qo'noS neighborhood system to revamping the Borg to improvements in the Foundry item placement system.
Q: TOSLover While I absolutely love the Foundry and am very amazed at all we can do with it, might there be an easier way that we could place our items, objects, ships, etc.? Maybe like an actual 3-D representation similar to how "The Sims" does it? I guess the question I'm asking is a change to Foundry object placement somewhere on the horizon?
A: Your suggestion is right on the money and I wish the team had the time to implement this immediately. Unfortunately it is going to take us quite a bit of time to get there. The first step might come later this year when we start to talk about a revamp to ship interiors and player starbases that would allow you to place objects as props.

Q: Darren_Kitlor Could you describe the Qo'noS neighborhood system in greater detail – what it involves for KDF players and also for Foundry use too?
A: We are completely remaking the Qo'noS planetary zone where Klingon players currently start the game. Previously this was an interior map, and now it is the courtyard and neighborhood around the Great Hall.
