Star Wars: The Old Republic: Marauder Player Guide
Jan 9th
With the amazing success of Star Wars: The Old Republic, players are often looking for direction on how to play their favorite classes. Today, MMORPG.com is pleased to present our Marauder Player Guide. Check it out!
Marauders are a user-intensive class that really bring the pain when wielded in the right hands. They aren't as straightforward as some of the game's other classes, but if you take the time to master this class you'll find it to be a very rewarding experience. However, the major disadvantage to playing a Marauder is the lack of flexibility afforded to other Advanced Classes. Sure, you can pick from a number of different ways to kill things, but if you feel like you might want to alternate between tanking and doing damage, you might want to look at the Sith Juggernaut instead.

Star Wars: The Old Republic: Crew Skills and the Endgame
Jan 8th
Crew Skills are a pretty interesting implementation of crafting in Star Wars: The Old Republic, but do they hold up in usefulness once you reach endgame? Read on to find out!
It’s no secret that I’ve been a fan of BioWare’s implementation of crafting in Star Wars: The Old Republic for some time now. Crew Skills and the item modification system allow for some fun possibilities in mixing and matching, as well as creating and customizing gear. Well, up to a point.
Spending time reverse engineering basic quality recipes for their higher quality versions takes considerable time and credits, but the end result is often fairly rewarding. This makes for a compelling system, but there are some flaws, and these flaws become more noticeable as you approach, and eventually reach, level cap.

Star Wars: The Old Republic: Razer SWTOR Headset Review
Jan 8th
In the second of our hardware reviews for gear related to Star Wars: The Old Republic, we take a look at the SWTOR Razer Headset. See how well it does sending us the sounds of the SWTOR universe in our new review. What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
I’m not the technical wizard that Carolyn Koh is when it comes to headsets, but when I got my Razer SWTOR Gaming Headset in the mail (I really needed a new one aside from the one tethered to my Xbox 360 controller) I knew I was in love. It may look a little silly (unless you’re a Star Wars fan like me), and the cost may be a bit high, but the comfort and sheer fidelity of the sound to my ears was well worth looking dorky to my wife. Besides, once I’m in any game the 7.1 surround makes sure I can’t hear her laughter and poking jokes (note: my wife isn’t that cruel, she’s just being used for ‘t3h funn3h’ here). It’s not noise-cancelling, and it’s not endorsed by the MLG, but it’s comfortable, it sounds great and glows pretty colors. For my needs: it’s perfect, though More >

Star Wars: The Old Republic: Bonus Series? Or Troll Series? You Decide!
Jan 3rd
We take a look at BioWare's "bonus series" questlines and whether or not they can really be considered a "bonus" in this week's Star Wars: The Old Republic column.
Imagine this: you've spent significant hours completing all the content on a particular planet, including your class story, the sidequests, the heroics, and you've just finished out the planet's "world arc" and feel pretty good about the conclusion. You've enjoyed the planet thus far, but you're really feeling that urge to just get off and move on at this point, especially to find out what happens in the next leg of your story. So, you head to the spaceport, satisfied with yourself and ready to go, only to be ambushed by what I can only describe is a troll of an NPC who surprises you with more (and supposedly urgent) stuff to do. The first time this happens you won't think anything of it at first. Oh, one final quest to finish things off here, right? No big deal.
Wrong.

Star Wars: The Old Republic: The Razer Gaming Mouse Review
Dec 29th
Nothing says success like hardware branded around a popular MMO. In today's hardware review, we take a look at the Star Wars: The Old Republic gaming mouse made by Razer. See if it measures up and is useful for SWTOR players. Tried it yourself? Let us know what YOU think!
The Star Wars: The Old Republic Gaming Mouse from Razer has made me eat crow. I’ll admit it… game branded hardware seems like a money grab most of the time. I mean, why should anyone buy a controller branded with Halo 3 on it other than to say, “Gee, I sure to like me some Halo 3!”? There’s rarely ever a good reason to own a peripheral that’s smacked upside the whatever with a bunch of funky decals unless you’re really just that much of a fan. Still, I suppose these sorts of oddities must serve their purpose. They’re rarely more useful than your standard hardware, but they’re for the fans. So exist they shall. But this mouse? This mouse is actually making me very pleased with its ability to help me wield the Force. Its combination of spiffy design and functionality make it a worthy addition to any MMO gamer’s More >
