Recently, Square Enix announced all 18 classes of Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) that players will have access to after official release, most of which have been introduced in our news before and four of which were unveiled for the first time, including Fisher, Carpenter, Armourer and Goldsmith.

According to Square Enix, not all these 18 classes will be made open to players in the test phase and the possibility of change still exists, for example, adding new classes. Classes currently available in the test phase include Botanist from the Gatherer disciple and Carpenter, Weaver, Leatherworker from the Crafter disciple. Fisher from the Gatherer disciple and Goldsmith, Armourer, Culinarian, Alchemist from the Crafter disciple are unavailable yet.

In addition, the developer is also likely to introduce new classes before the game’s official service. Players can have a guess at what new classes may be added, in addition to the 18 unveiled classes.

FFXIV Armory System Introduction

The Armory System is a featured system in FFXIV which allows players to change their classes easily by switching out the weapons or items they wield. Their weapons and items are divided into four categories, Weapons, Talismans, Gathering Tools and Crafting Tools, which correspond to Disciples of War (Fighter), Disciples of Magic (Sorcerer), Disciples of the Land (Gatherer) and Disciples of the Hand (Crafter) disciple respectively, with specific classes of each disciple as follows:
