Spring Time Is Coming To Runes of Magic
New event planned in celebration
SAN FRANCISCO and BERLIN – Frogster (www.frogster-interactive.de) , a leading global publisher of free-to-play games, is introducing a new in-game event for Runes of Magic, beginning in March entitled the ‘Masked Ball’.
In Taborea, the winter is also slowly receding – which is reason enough for all of the inhabitants of the Runes of Magic world to celebrate the coming season. Legend tells us that the barbarians of Candara have long been afflicted by a cruel fate when the winter comes and the land starves under the bitter cold. When the weather finally warms, they celebrate the prospect of a rich harvest for the New Year with reckless abandon. All of the barbarians dress up and attend this event to try to forget the hard days of ice in one great rollicking party.
The Runes of Magic community is invited to take part in the celebration. Daily quests and a game world decorated for spring awaits adventurers of all levels. As a reward, artfully ornamented masks, transformation potions and all sorts of other goodies will be available. The ‘Masked Ball’ event will launch in conjunction with the next Runes of Magic update in March.
Runes of MagicA world full of magic and adventure          Runes of Magic has redefined the standard for free-to-play MMORPGs in terms of gameplay, fun and quality. The online role-playing game has an exciting, multi-layered story, driven by more than 2,300 quests set in the fantasy world of Taborea. To date, Runes of Magic has attracted more than 2.5 million registered users, making it one of the most successful free-to-play titles on the market, and a must play game for all fans of RPGs and MMO games.
Runes of Magic features a unique dual class system enabling players to combine one of eight primary classes with a secondary class. The result is a deep player experience that expands upon the game’s broad customization offering. There are two different playable races, Elves and Humans, from which players can choose. Each dual class combination produces its own powerful elite skills. Another popular feature is the opportunity to furnish your own virtual home, and guilds can construct guild castles, which can be expanded with additional buildings. Thanks to comprehensive crafting and reputation systems, gripping PvP features, deep customization and demanding dungeons, Runes of Magic has something for everyone.
Runes of Magic continues to be free-to-play and is expanded regularly with new content and challenges by developer Runewaker.
