Nuevo trailer y sitio web para Earthrise

Masthead Studios actualiza la web de Earthrise y nos muestra un espectacular video con imágenes de la actual beta. Earthrise es un MMORPG de estilo shooter, aunque no será totalmente un shooter/FPS y el estilo de lucha será mas cercano al de un RPG. La acción nos situara en un futuro post-apocalíptico con varias facciones enfrentadas.
El video nos deja ver el aspecto bastante refinado de la beta y unos gráficos prometedores. Vemos variedad en los paisajes, desde edificios a paramos desolados pasando por espectaculares paisajes llenos de vegetación.
El juego ya se ha visto como su fecha de lanzamiento se ha ido retrasando poco a poco y aun no dispone de ninguna fecha concreta para su puesta a al venta. Esperemos que esta espera merezca la pena y suponga un éxito para este estilo de juegos MMORPG futuristas que no parecen terminar de encontrar su espacio.

APB Reloaded: La personalización y los distintos tipos de usuario

GamersFirst sigue trabajando en la resurrección del juego APB y mantienen a los usuarios al día de como se produce esta resurrección. Para ello han preparado un blog en el que mantienen a los usuarios al día de lo que sucede en las entrañas del equipo de desarrollo.
En al primera entrada nos dejaban ver sus ideas sobre el balanceo entre usuarios de pago y gratuitos. Dejando claro que querían que el juego siguiera siendo entretenido para los usuarios gratuitos pero que contarían con una progresión mas larga que los de pago.
En la ultima entrada hablan sobre la personalización, una de las características estrella de APB y por la que recibió grandísimos elogios por parte de muchos medios. Ahora sabemos que el numero de personalizaciones y los objetos a personalizar no estarán limitados, pero si queremos hacer gala de nuestro talento y queremos guardar y compartir personalizaciones avanzadas tendremos que ser usuarios “Premium”. Un punto a favor es que podemos ser usuarios “Premium” durante un periodo de tiempo y seguir disfrutando de nuestras cutinizaciones previamente guardadas aunque nuestra suscripción este agotada.

Sometimes, you can’t be quite sure whether it’s the main boss of a new expansion that’s frightening everyone, or maybe just the new expansion itself. While I’m not sure that was his intent, Bonkey certainly captured that dynamic with Deathly Squares. It’s Bonkey’s contest entry into the Cataclysm commercial contest, and it includes some help from Jesse O’Connor and Paus. Like all of the commercial contest videos, Deathly Squares is very brief.
