Sansha’s Nation Invade Oruse – news from EvE

Oruse, Solitude – Sansha’s Nation began an invasion of Oruse at approximately 22:00 last night, as predicted by hidden messages, apparently independently discovered, by Arklan1 of Dunedan Rangers and Culmen of Blood Phage Syndicate in Nation network transmissions that have now been verified and deciphered by multiple independent capsuleers.
Prior to the attack, Eleutherian Guard pilot Seriphyn Inhonores and Anslo of First Flying Wing Inc claim to have attempted an evacuation of Oruse II, but the Archon carrier, The Ifrit, was destroyed by Rote Kapelle forces.
Many capsuleers, including those from the corporation The Revenent Defence Corporation [R.D.C], entered the system in a bid to push back the invading forces from Sansha’s Nation but as of midnight last night, pilots were facing strong opposition and Nation reinforcements were coming thick and fast.
Both sides sustained heavy losses, but Sansha’s Nation were holding their own and dominating the the area around Oruse II.

Learning skills removal Mass Test until December 3, 2010 – news from EvE

Starting now and continuing until Friday morning, we will be conducting mass testing of the upcoming removal of learning skills. To ensure a smooth rollout of this change, we need as many pilots as possible to help us test it on the Singularity server. We will be rewarding all participants with an additional 5 million skill points on Singularity and it will take only 15 minutes of your time!
We advise all players to use the SisiLauncher tool to install and update the client version needed to access the test server. More information on SisiLauncher can be found here.

[Rumor] Blizzard Product Timetable Leaked, Next MMO Called Titan?

Blizzard must be busy with preparing the launch of Cataclysm now and so do thousands of WOW gamers. But they may have something else to do after seeing this so-called leaked Blizzard Product Slate (see the picture below), which clearly demonstrates the timetable of several Blizzard’s key products from 2010 to 2014. Whether this timetable that posted on Chinese WoW forum NGA is fake or authentic is unknown, but it does give some amazing info.

After Ghostcrawler’s Nerfbat, paladins are now really on a good way to be one of the top-leveling classes if not the best. There were several spell/ability changes being discussed on Blizzcon and even before patch, but in the end, the results are more than surprising!
You can take a hunter class, which has undergone many changes, as a suitable example. Hunters got their focus resource back (as it was the case back in Warcract alpha version), ammo was removed and other changes. But all of these changes are only really minor ones compared with the paladin changes.
The biggest difference seems to be the playstyle. Thanks to the introduction of Holy Power, paladins now deal more damage, heal his allies and most importantly, heal himself with great effectiveness. Along the changes in the talent trees More >
New add-on for Cultures Online

Players of Cultures Online can look forward to a comprehensive new add-on. For the first time, Viking heroes will be able to explore three different dungeons. There will also be 15 new quest locations and a higher maximum level.
Once they arrive on the coast of Atlantis, Vikings will find dungeons with six floors sorted by level and filled with rare treasures. Vikings that want to get their hands on those highly-desirable item sets will first have to beat all the monsters on every floor, though. All those experience points earned will help characters level up to the new maximum level of 100. The expansion is planned for release on December 07, 2010.
New expansion for Castle of Heroes launched today

Gala Networks Europe has announced the launch of a new expansion for Castle of Heroes. Titled Rise of the Guilds, the new content brings a host of enhancements and will go live this afternoon in English, French, German, Polish and Italian. Rise of the Guilds introduces many new features, such as the grafting and forging systems, opening up huge potential to upgrade in-game items. Players can increase the basic physical attributes on their precious equipment, or even move physical and magical attributes from one weapon and armour to another.
Also new to Castle of Heroes is the Personal Ranking Battle PVP system, which allows all players to prove their skills and challenge other heroes. Further to that, players can create an exact copy of their hero to fight Personal Rank Battles, while the original hero performs in the regular game. Treasures of the Desert, new content update for Runes of Magic

Frogster today released Treasures of the Desert a new content update for Runes of Magic. The update adds a new region, the Limo Desert, and a new instance, Kawaks Tomb. Gamers are now able to power up characters to level 62 and trade diamonds with a special NPC. After extensive testing, Frogster has decided to reinstate the option to let Runes of Magic players trade gold for diamonds. The free fantasy online RPG is the only game in the Free2Play segment where players can use the in-game currency to trade for items purchased from the in-game shop. This feature was reintroduced after feedback from the community.
The public battle, the Yasheedee Catastrophe, is also available across all Runes of Magic servers. To prevail in this legendary battle, players have to conquer aggressive foes. In the first phase of the multifaceted encounter, players must use special ropes to capture a horde of nasty worm-like creatures. The second phase challenges players to put as many Resonance Stones as possible in the right place. The more stones they place, the easier it is in the third and fourth phases, where the wicked Hardskin Yasheedees and the formidable Crimson Devourer, an exceptionally tough boss, await.

Folks who preorder the upcoming expansion from Gamestop receive an immediate smattering of 20 percent discounts, good on stuff like select EVGA GeForce video cards, SteelSeries headsets, Linksys routers, and even the Alienware M15X gaming laptop.
If you don’t need discounts on hardware, then you’re probably better off just doing the whole shebang digitally, because you’ll have access on launch night regardless of how or where you bought the game. Worldbreaker preview and costume contest at Darkmoon Faire Los Angeles this weekend

If you’re keen to experience the new Worldbreaker expansion for the WoW TCG before it releases on the 14th of December, you should seriously consider trying to find a way to get to Los Angeles for the Darkmoon Faire this Dec. 4 and 5. Cryptozoic will be hosting a costume contest as well as a tournament, with prizes ranging from the loot cards like the Spectral Tiger to boxed sets of the new expansion. There are even door prizes for contestants.
Frankly, if you’re even remotely interested in the TCG (or cool loot cards from it), I’d say you should be working on your costume or getting ready to play the new expansion. Either way, sounds like a good time and a way to get to see Worldbreaker before the world finishes up breaking this Dec. 7, 2010.

Après plusieurs heures de suspens, Potbs a finalement réussi sa transformation et a été mis en ligne sur les serveurs live aux alentours d’1h du matin.
La naissance de ce nouveau géant des F2P, prévue initialement pour être joué avec un abonnement comme bon nombre de ces comparses a été délicate. Entre 18h et 1h, les développeurs ont en effet tenu en haleine la communauté en corrigeant des bugs de dernières minutes qui ont reculé de plusieurs heures le lancement du jeu.
Les joueurs peuvent désormais acheter de nouveaux animaux, habits et quelques avantages pour gagner des doublons ou des levels.
Rappelons que Potbs est un jeu vous proposant d’incarner un capitaine dans les années 1720 axé PvP/RvR. La communauté française est massivement présente sur le serveur Roberts sur les nations Pirate et Française.
