Runescape: Jagex Takes on Bot Makers & Wins
Jan 23rd
Jagex has been handed a major legal victory in its battle against bots in RuneScape. A decision has been handed down that compels Mark and Eric Snellman to pay Jagex compensatory damages for their creation of bots to be used in RuneScape.
As a condition of this case the Snellmans have been ordered to give up all websites, domains, source code and customer details to Jagex along with all the details of all those individuals who have developed scripts for iBOT and sold or re-sold those scripts.
Gerhard concluded with: “The result of this case against the Snellmans should serve as a serious deterrent for anyone who continues to be involved in developing botting software or scripts or even maintaining or supporting those involved.”

Runescape: Ring In the New Year with Jagex
Dec 22nd
We're just going to let the RuneScape dev team say it in their own words: To pop the cork on the all-year celebration of RuneScape’s 10th anniversary, Jagex Game Studio is hosting a 24-hour challenge for one brave (and well rested) RuneScape moderator, to celebrate the ringing of 2012 with RuneScape players across the globe.
With each of the 39 strokes of midnight, occurring in the 39 time zones across the world, players will be alerted to the moderator’s in-game location through Facebook, Twitter, and in-game, that they can seek him out and join in these once a year festivities.
Using the hashtag “#RS24” on Twitter, players can join in the conversation, keep track of his progress, and connect with fellow players as he celebrates the coming of 2012 with RuneScape players the world round.
Have a happy holiday season, and looking forward to capping RuneScape’s 10th anniversary with global count downs to the New Year! 10…9…8…7…(repeat 39x)
Sounds like lots of fun! Find out more on the RuneScape site.
Terrific First CBT of Roll n Rock! Most Exciting Rolling Fights!
Dec 13th
The first day of Roll n Rock First CBT (Closed Beta Test) is quite enthusiastic! Large volumes of players rushed into the new server to experience the specific anti-gravity fighting. Most of them feel it novel and interesting. They are itching for a chance to show their talent of good eyesight and agile. In Roll n Rock, the moving speed is the key to the winning.
Quick moving sometimes decides the result in a fight. Indeed it needs players to be quick with their hands and sharp-sighted. They need to move fast to eat the diamonds and weapons for killing opponents to get scores. On the other hand, avoiding rolling objects from smashing to their bodies is equally an immense trial. Consequently some of the players have mastered the gameplay soon and started to purchase the items and gears with the points or coupons they won in game rounds.
Some players may feel the rhythm too fast. But it’s the delight for people to enjoy in this game. According to the producer & lead designer of this game, there will be more different gameplays for players to be more leisurely to enjoy in rolling home. Please do look forward to it!
