Pilot Plots Course to Visit Every System in New Eden – news from EvE
Sep 5th
Jita – One capsuleer has stated her intent to visit every solar system in New Eden, cataloging the journey as she goes.
Hitomi Baka, the CEO of Koala Coalation [KAYC], recently started the epic journey across the known galaxy. Says Baka, “Well, I started hitting every region in [New Eden], then decided that it was too small a challenge, so I decided to go to every system as well.”
Proof of this journey will be documented in the photos Baka plans to take at each step of her journey. “I am taking a [Neocom Image] of each system as I jump into it, [then] naming them and sorting by regions.” The journey is expected to take anywhere from three to six months if she keeps her current pace.
Baka explains her motivation: “Initially, it was just a passing fancy. When I thought more of it and began to plan, it made me think. [Lawless space] and people claiming territory stop a lot of [pilots] from exploring. I decided to not only be the only person to have been in every known system, but to show others that it’s not as scary as they think.”

Theft at Titans 4 U – news from EvE
Sep 5th
Titans 4 U, a capsuleer run investment vehicle run by Bad Bobby since last summer has now ceased trading after unusual behaviour was observed by trustees and investors.
Suspicions were raised on the 3rd of September when Proton Power reported in the Market Discussion section of GalNet that the directors of Titans 4 U had been dismissed from their roles a day before a vote was created to “unlock the 5 titan bpo’s.”
Bad Bobby confirmed on the 4th of September that he had indeed stolen the assets and funds of Titans 4 U.
In an exclusive interview with the Interstellar Correspondents, Bad Bobby has given a detailed account of the true value of the assets stolen, and also his future plans. He divulged to us that although he ran Titans 4 U as a legitimate operation, he was always going to “keep his options open” and his desires to bail out and cash in on the venture were always in his mind.
Bad Bobby explained that the idea for Titans 4 U was not actually his, but a fellow capsuleer. However, the aforementioned capsuleer went on to execute thefts from other ventures such as EBANK instead. Bad Bobby has stated that he had More >
Politician Defends Funding Decision – news from EvE
Sep 3rd
PATOR – Wentach Mennar, an ex-member of parliament for the Representative Party, issued a statement today defending the decision to award grant money to the Minmatar People’s Theatre for their staging of 600-year-old play ‘Plantation.’
“Grants are made on the basis of the applicant, not on the merits of the project. The MPT has been providing quality theatre here in the capital for over 15 years,” said Mennar. “The fact so many people are talking about the play should be proof this troupe knows what they are doing.” Equality in Action, a media watch group protesting the staging of the play, responded by saying they found nothing funny about “cashing in on racism to fill seats.”
Sarum Symphony a glorious triumph – news from EvE
Sep 1st
Mekhios – From the hushed and pensive opening notes to the stirring triumphal finale, Khitian Maritak’s choral Sarum Symphony held listeners entranced for the entirety of its three-hour length. “I wanted to express [the Empress’] rise to power as the journey of her lifetime, to make the audience feel her experience,” the honored composer stated later in an open interview. Home viewers may not have received quite as powerful an experience as the attendees, but the program has been recorded to produce the closest possible facsimile and will be available next month for purchase.
Featuring the vocal talents of soloists Ameyn Jural and Louwi Kil, the Symphony presented an immersive experience incorporating subtle lighting to enhance moods and utilizing to their fullest extent the unusual acoustical properties of St Nhyron’s Basilica. The extensive twelfth movement, expressing the climactic battle above Mekhios, has already been called a “marvel” of precision composition, with singers representing both the Sarum fleet and the Minmatar Elder fleet passing around and amongst the audience in a recreation of the chaos and unpredictability of the fight, and culminating with the Elder fleet singers faltering and scattering from the Sarum singers’ concentrated sound. Members of the audience flinched from the More >
Militias Hold Truce to Break Stargate Camp – news from EvE
Aug 31st
Kourmonen – The Bleak Lands. In a battle involving a most unlikely fleet, it took the combined efforts of Minmatar Republic militia ships and the Amarr Empire militia forces to break a Wildly Inappropriate [WI] stargate camp.
“The Wildly Inappropriate forces were spotted [engaging] some of the Amarr Militia…” states the joint force fleet commander, Predator Elite, “…we also noticed they were [engaged with] the Minmatar pilots as well.” It was at that point Flyinghotpocket, a member of Filthy Franchise [N4STY] and a member of the Minmatar Militia, is credited with arranging a treaty with the Amarrian fleet.
Although not common, these impromptu ’cease-fire’ situations do occur when warranted. When asked if the contact from the Republic forces was a surprise, Predator Elite – member of Core Impulse and FC for the Amarr Militia – states, “[I was] not really surprised because there were times before when we were fighting that a pirate gang would jump on us and we all would stop fighting and kill off the pirates…so I was ok with it.” Missy Lorelai, a member of N4STY, echoes that statement, “As of late, some 0.0 pirate corps have been engaging both sides during conflict or pirating plexes or missions.” but More >
Media Watch-Group Outraged – news from EvE
Aug 31st
PATOR – The Minmatar People’s Theatre announced their new season today, drawing fire from media watchgroups outraged at the inclusion of what they call a “rascist” play. The MPT, who were the last group to receive funding from the now-defunct parliament, will stage a version of the 600-year-old ’Plantation’ by Ammatar author Dekkameron. Though the play is considered by many a classic, at least one of the groups, Equality in Action, plans to protest the show. “There is no redeeming social value in this play whatsoever, and it is disgusting that government money would go towards perpetuating racist stereotypes” said Keinnan Bakkia the group’s spokesman.
IT Alliance Campaign Pauses in Solitude – news from EvE
Aug 30th
Hare, Solitude – IT Alliance’s campaign against Cloud Ring residents has met with resistance in Solitude, forcing IT to withdraw from a recent engagement in the Hare system.
Three days ago IT alliance started to reinforce towers belonging to Ev0ke, Dead Terrorists and Cry Havoc. in Syndicate and the nearby low security systems. The events began to unfold when IT formed their attack fleet in 6-CZ49, Syndicate. “[We] Tried to catch their fleet staging out from there, but we missed that…” Hoxothul from Cry Havoc. explained. The IT fleet headed towards Hare, intending to reinforce one of Cry Havocs Towers. Cry Havoc and their allies rushed to defend the tower, mainly in battlecruisers. When they jumped into the system, the IT support fleet came out of warp on the gate and spatial anomalies began to haunt the system.
In an attempt to help their support, the rest of the IT Alliance fleet rallied to the gate leaving a single Revelation dreadnaught behind that became the focus of the Cloud Ring residents. “Their full fleet fell on me, [I] had to go into siege to try [to] survive [until] some help arrives. [It] didn´t work.” WanHungLo, the unlucky dreadnaught pilot remarked. His fleet did More >
Settled Thukker Deal With Tribal Identity Crisis – news from EvE
Aug 30th
Rens – As Thukker tribesmen integrate into Minmatar society in greater numbers, many are giving up their nomadic roots and settling down. This has raised questions within the tribal community as to what it truly means to be a Thukker.
Hugh Gunnur, a Thukker by birth, has relocated his family to Symhafen, a metropolis on the bustling planet of Rens. He sees the move as worthwhile. “My family have been maintenance techs on the station in EO2-IK for four generations. We were never part of a caravan, and aside from one of my great-uncles, no one in my family lived a nomadic lifestyle.” He further indicated that living on Rens was a significant improvement over station life. “I never have to worry about leaking atmosphere here.”
But even Gunnur admits he is concerned about maintaining his tribal identity. Many traditions developed and passed down by space-faring Thukkers are difficult or impossible in planet-bound life. For instance, many Thukker feel the Voluval ceremony, central to the personal identity of most Minmatar, should be administered only in space. Some extreme interpretations require the ritual to be performed in vac-suits, so strong is the Thukker affinity for the void.
