Catch – Against ALL Authorities [.-A-.] are currently fighting wars on two fronts, one in an attempt to free systems that were recently taken by Libertas Fidelitas [LFA], with help from Curatores Veritatis Alliance [CVA] and a second against GoonSwarm [OHGOD] in 49-U6U.

As of this time F9E-KX, SV5-8N, WD-VTV, and 9KOE-A have been taken by the Providence residents with capital fleets currently deployed by .-A-. and friends as they attempt to free F9E-KX and SV5-8N. With the fighting still in progress it looks possible that .-A-. may be able to recover SV5-8N, though reports indicate that they are taking losses of about five to one at the current time.

Irnin, Domain – Recently, a vigorous battle has been fought between a group of eco-terrorists and capsuleers from all around New Eden.

The fight ignited after the “CONCORD Preservation and Recovery” [CPR] corporation declared war on Chribba’s alliance, Otherworld Empire, allegedly to remove some starbases from Irnin and nearby systems in a bid to preserve pristine moon surfaces.

The attacking corporation defines itself as “eco-terrorist” and claims that orbiting starbases pollute moon’s surfaces and thus must be removed to avoid moon’s geological features to be tainted.

Epimithius09, CEO of CONCORD Preservation and Recovery, explains they didn’t mean to explicitly target Chribba: “we happened to came across [a starbase of] Chribba’s which was offline, so we [declared war] to kill it. We did not expect the reaction we received.”

Chribba is one of the most trusted industrialists in New Eden and the attack sparkled an immediate reaction among capsuleers. Pilots from well-known organizations such as Exalted., Noir. Mercenary Group, R.E.P.O., Duty. Private Security and many other agencies rallied to save Chribba’s structures.

Annaro – Confirmation that the Ducia Foundry team deployed to Annaro system included slave workers emerged last night, sparking controversy and overshadowing the successful rescue of 176 miners from the collapsed CBD Corporation asteroid mine. The Caldari Business Tribunal is reported to have been alerted by individuals within the Annaro police; they are investigating allegations that corporate and civil codes were broken by the local police corporation.

According to reports, the rescue team included 16 slaves, who carried out dangerous work on the surface of the asteroid. Those slaves have since been purchased and released by Amarr Holder Aszhar Freimala, in accordance with an agreement between Freimala, Ducia Foundry, and Annaro police commander Garr Diymir. Despite this agreement, the venture was still illegal under Caldari law, as the individuals in question were slaves during the rescue operation.

Sources within the Annaro police force have alleged that Commander Diymir gave his authority for the illegal venture to proceed and ordered several police patrols to change course away from the Amarr team’s ships and the asteroid. Teonusude, Molden Heath – Helicity Boson from The Jerk Cartel has announced that the Hulkageddon II contest, in which capsuleers compete to destroy the most exhumer-class vessels, will begin at midnight on 07.01.112 and run until the 14th.

The event offers a grand prize to the corporation destroying the most Hulks and Mackinaws of 3 billion ISK, an Armageddon battleship and a Shadow Serpentis Large Smartbomb, with further prizes for second and third place. Other awards are offered for success in certain specific categories, such as achieving the most kills in a single region, with a total prize pot in excess of 8 billion ISK.

While all methods of obtaining kills against exhumers are considered valid by the contest, the coming week is expected to show a dramatic increase in the number of so-called “suicide ganks” – that is, destruction of ships in high-security space by one or more fully- or over-insured tech 1 vessel without a declaration of war or other legal “killright.” The attacking ship is then destroyed by CONCORD for its criminal act; such attacks therefore only have a few seconds in which to eliminate their target. Annaro – A dangerous rescue operation aimed at recovering 176 Caldari miners trapped in an asteroid proved successful last night . The rescue was performed by an Amarr team from Ducia Foundry experienced on unstable asteroids.

Reports indicate that the miners themselves were not informed of the attempt and spent the evening writing final letters to their loved ones. One miner told reporters, “When I heard they were drilling just a few meters away, my first thought was that we were hallucinating from the lack of oxygen.” The surprise rescue operation was executed, though, for reasons that remain unclear, only a select few knew about the operation. Their secrecy has aroused suspicions that Ducia Foundry was allowed to covertly transport and deploy its slave workers to the asteroid mine.

In a brief statement, Ducia Foundry’s Steen Greimala said, “The operation went as smoothly as ever. Every member of my team performed admirably, and we were more than helped by the Deep Core Mining experts, who analyzed every aspect of the asteroid. I never had a point where I was seriously concerned.”
