TERA: Guild Wars 2 vs TERA
May 2nd
This week has seen a lot of news about both of these keenly anticipated titles with TERA's doors officially swinging open and the first widely attended Guild Wars 2 closed beta event taking place just before. We are in a conundrum. Find out why and then let us know what you think in the comments.
Like Luke below (ha, Like Luke!) I’ve wrestled back and forth between Guild Wars 2 and TERA since I’ve been spending time in both betas. The difference, as you’ll see, is that while Luke finds himself underwhelmed by ArenaNet’s sequel, I find myself floored by it. And with TERA launching this week and GW2 presumably just a few months away, we each take time to ponder which game has the edge for our personal tastes.

May 2nd
KingsIsle has announced that the latest world, Avalon, is now officially live on all Wizard101 servers. Avalon is a medieval world of knights, goblins, giants, and dragons. The new update also increases the level cap to 70.
Merle Ambrose was born here, and gained a reputation as a fierce Wizard. Merle helped the young warrior-bear Artorius become king of Avalon. However, once King Artorius fell in the final battle slaying his archrival, Malory, Merle decided it was time to leave Avalon – Merle left to found Ravenwood School of Magical Arts and teach magic to any Wizard who wanted to learn it in the Spiral.

"The screen is from Mirkwood's epic quest, by far my favourite part of LOTRO's epic story. I really loved the whole Mirwood's atmosphere, lights and colours and this part of the epic was the best one, I entered this place and found a stunning, beautiful sky with that big moon over me and then realized there was that nasty thing up there waiting for me. You have to know I have a strong arachnophobia in real life and facing spiders in games awakes my inner "Eeeeeeeek!!! KILL IT, KILL IT NOOOOW!" soul.. I had a great time in Mirkwood "
First Prize Winner: Rinthael
