WildStar: Mechari Aren
Feb 27th
We continue our look at the known races from Carbine Studios' WildStar. This time, the Mechari are profiled to give fans a bit of lore and other interesting tidbits of information. Read on!
The Mechari were created by the Eldan to serve as soldiers and workers. If anything they hold the most secrets of any race heading to planet Nexus. Because the Eldan had left their legacy to the Cassians and the Mechari remain long after the Eldan had gone this union is an easy one to put together. In any sci-fi game a robot race is almost needed and Chad agrees that the Mechari bring an interesting angle to the Dominion.

Age of Wushu: Countering the Wild West Mentality
Feb 27th
Age of Wushu's site has been updated with a new developer blog that lays the groundwork for the "wild West" mentality for in-game PvP. Players gain infamy for wanton kills, ultimately bringing themselves to the attention of bounty hunters.
The highest level of Infamy is not forgiving; players with purple names are temporarily held in a special prison before going to death row. The bribe price is steeper and the breakout tasks are harder to get out of this prison. If a player cannot come up with the bribe or escape, they will be scheduled for a public beheading in front of the prison. Other players can come and enjoy the spectacle. Beheading holds extensive stat penalties for players.

Defiance: Cloaked and Ready
Feb 26th
EGO skills in Defiance are going to be critical to a player's success. In the latest in a series of article detailing some of those skills, we take a look at "Cloak". See what it's all about before heading to the comments to leave your thoughts.
Cloak is ideal for the sneaky buggers out there. It conceals the player completely for a short period of time, only uncloaking him or her if they fire a shot. The speedy and strategic player can find higher ground, get a good shot lined up, and open a fight with a rim-rattling noggin buster from an acidic sniper rifle. Nothing like picking off a mutant before the swarm of them are alerted right? On top of that, it increases shield regen for survival, and can easily be used in the middle of a tense fight to make an escape or find someplace to re-fuel before going at it again.
