Dragon’s Prophet: First Impressions of Open Beta
May 29th
Dragon's Prophet has officially entered its North American open beta and is already generating a lot of buzz. We've spent some time in game and have some impressions to share. See what we think before leaving your thoughts in the comments.
The first thing that took me by surprise about Dragon’s Prophet was how in-depth the character customization is. It’s quite like Aion in that just about every bit of your character’s looks and body shape and size can be altered. It’s a welcome change of pace when you compare it to other MMOs which give you a few sliders and call it a day. I will note however that you might not want to bother with worrying about armor dye colors, as you’ll wind up replacing those starting armors within minutes of beginning the game. You’re all humans though, no dwarves, elves, or anything like that here. The variety is in how you can craft your look and your dragons, and that will be plenty I’d wager.

The proper technique must involve no pants, apparently.

EverQuest: EQNext’s Time to Shine
May 29th
Now that Blizzard has pushed any further information and development of its 'Titan' MMO to the distant future, it's time for EverQuest Next to take the spotlight. Check out our thoughts on the subject before heading to the comments to discuss.
By all accounts, we here at MMORPG.com were ready for SOE and Blizzard to go head-to-head again with Project Titan and EQ Next. Now, with Blizzard going back to the drawing board on their next big MMORPG, the time is absolutely right for EverQuest to step back into the limelight. What’s more is that this time around, SOE isn’t content on making this new version of Norrath another theme-park raiding extravaganza. In yet another sign that the days of simple quest hubs and gear grinds are coming to a close (or at least a tipping point), SOE’s John Smedley has gone on record stating that whatever EverQuest Next is it will be the be the biggest sandbox of all time.

Neverwinter: An Astral Diamond in the Rough
May 29th
Neverwinter is one of the first blockbuster titles to arrive in 2013. With over a month of game time, we are ready to present our official review. See what you think before heading to the comments to discuss your own experiences in the game.
Cryptic Studios released Neverwinter just over a month ago. While publisher Perfect World called it an “open beta”, the company had no issues taking players’ money for Zen used to purchase virtual items in the shop. Whenever that happens, the game is, in our mind, released. And so, today’s review culminates our month-long journey in and around the Sword Coast, most notably in Neverwinter and its immediate surroundings. Tag along with us as we synthesize our four Beta Diary articles (linked below) into our official MMORPG.com review of Neverwinter.

The first and most famous of all the Luminai was Dominus the Half-Blood, who arrived on planet Cassus in the year 1 AE. Dominus was created by the Eldan on planet Nexus, using the genetic information of the famed Cassian Sword-Maiden Tresayne Toria. After his long-awaited arrival, Dominus was welcomed with open arms by his new people and crowned the first emperor of the newly established Dominion. Blessed with the strength and courageousness of his legendary mother, the Half-Blood was beloved by the people of Cassus, and his reign is considered the Dominion's golden age.
