And welcome WAR players to the BioWare Social  Network – The new home of the Official Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning  Forums! As you’re likely aware Mythic is now BioWare Mythic, and a part of the  BioWare family. 

The BioWare Social Network allows us to bring two passionate  communities together and enhance your experience across our games.

As you will find in the podcast we’ve put together above  becoming a part of the BioWare Social Network is easy and only requires two  things:  

  • A BioWare Social Network account  
  • And an active WAR subscription or  endless trial account

Here’s how you do it, go to the Forums Landing Page or visit forums.warhammeronline.com and  follow the instructions below:  

  • Don’t  have a BioWare Social Network account
    1. When you reach the BioWare Social Network from  the links above you will be prompted to log in or create an account. Go ahead  and click “Sign me up!”    
    2. Fill out your account information    
    3. Once you’ve created your Social Network account  you’ll be taken to a page to register your WAR account. Type in the  username/password you use to play the game.    
    4. If the registration was successful you’ll be  taken back to the WAR forums – have fun!    
  • Already  have a Social Network account?
    1. If you’re not logged already when you reach the  Social Network via the links above you will be prompted to login.     
    2. After successfully logging in you’ll be prompted  to register your WAR account. Type in the username/password you use to play the  game.    
    3. If you are logged in already you’ll just need to  register your WAR account – as simple as that!

If you wish to find a recent post or favorite from the old  forums you can do so by visitinghttp://warhammer.lithium.com. Please Note: This link will be  available for less than 24 hours; we will provide a permanent archive in the  near future.

Q: Have my existing forum profile and posts been transferred to the BioWare Social Network?

A:  No, this is clean slate. We will provide an archive of the old forums in the near future.

Q: If I have a preexisting BioWare Social Network Account, do I need to create a new account?

A: No! Your current BioWare Social Network account can be associated with your WAR account!

Q: Who will be able to post in the WAR: BioWare Social Network forums?

A: Active subscribers and Endless Trial accounts are be able to post in all of the same forums they had before. Additionally, if you were permanently banned from the old forums you will be unable to register your WAR Account.

Q: Does the WAR Development team continue to post on these new boards?

A: Absolutely! The WAR Team has carried their high level of communication over to the new BioWare Social Network.

Q: Do I have to reenter all of my profile information?

A: Yes, players will have the opportunity to set up new profiles as part of the Account Creation process for the BioWare Social Network.

Q: Am I required to select a new display name?

A: Yes. All players are required to choose a display name as part of the BioWare Social Network account creation process.

Q: Does the link from the WAR main page and Herald still take me to the forums?
 
A: Yes! Visitors will automatically be redirected to the new WAR: BioWare Social Network forums by visiting http://forums.warhammeronline.com or by clicking on the links provided on the Herald and the WAR main page.

Q: Do my forum account continue to remain associated with the Realm WAR application?

A: No, but you will be able to choose from a new selection of High-Rez avatars featuring your favorite careers. You will still be able to log into the Realm WAR page using your WAR credentials.

Q: Does the new BioWare SocialNetwork site have a WAR theme?

A: Yes, the new BioWare Social Network WAR forums will have a Warhammer theme as the default setting.
